Job Role - Android games developer

We have a unique opening for an accomplished Android / J2ME coder to join our team working on a major new mobile game title.

If you are passionate about great code, and great games, then this role is for you.

About the role:

Building the front end elements of the games, using and optimising Android features. The applications will need to built in a way that can be scaled, easily modified and optimised to load and function fast.

Communicate with the backend developers to agree on optimal communications profiles.

Contribute ideas, processes and working methods to the project.

What we need from you:

Demonstrable practical experience, with working code examples will be given higher priority than university degrees.

2+ years hands-on Android and Java development with proof of elegant solutions to challenging problems.

You should already have shown yourself to be a passionate mobile developer that has shown a commitment to the principles of Behaviour Driven Development.

An appreciation of the principles of Open Source and actively contributing to code sharing sites such as GitHub will be highly regarded.
