The Project Factory's UK MD Kirsty Hunter was one of the guest lecturers recently at Fast Train, the biggest training event for TV freelancers in the UK.
Held at BBC White City it is hosted by Skillset. There were more than 72 individual training sessions and 17 masterclasses, Kirsty was on hand to teach Multiplatform Production for the Indie Training Fund. (www.indietrainingfund.com)
The course covered the basics of multiplatform, some great examples, an exercise called Pick'n'Mix designed to help producers come up with creative ideas across a number of platforms and then raced through some Top Tips for producing across multiple platforms.
This is part of The Project Factory's commitment to sharing best practice and enticing linear producers into the wonderful world of multiplatform.
