Family Guy’s Alec Sulkin Launches Ramble. A social texting App to chat and be voyeurs across social Messaging.
Ramble is a social texting platform that bridges the gap between social media and messaging apps creating an entirely new way for fans, creators, and brands to connect. Ramble invites users to create dynamic group text chats that can be viewed by the public, providing a front-row seat to the conversation.
“I’ve always thought the Family Guy writers’ room group chat was so hilarious and entertaining that it deserved an audience. With Ramble, we’re bringing that same energy to the world, turning private, behind-the-scenes conversations into a social experience for everyone to enjoy. MPF helped us actualise this vision, and we’re even seeing new utilities across the platform.”
Alec Sulkin is a writer and executive producer for the hit series Family Guy, shaping its irreverent humor since the early 2000s. He’s also collaborated with Seth MacFarlane on films like Ted, Ted 2, and A Million Ways to Die in the West. Known for his sharp wit, Sulkin keeps audiences laughing both on screen and on social media, where his sarcastic posts are an art form.
Ramble is a social texting platform that provides a stage for performative text-based conversations. Whether it’s between colleagues, friends or creators, Ramble is the community where one can partake in comical, informative or creative group conversations, whether directly as a contributor or passively as a voyeur. 23 billion texts are sent daily. Why not build an audience around the content everyone is already producing?
Introduce your product and give us your elevator pitch! | Ramble is a social texting platform that provides a stage for performative text-based conversations. What is the biggest challenge you’ve faced? | The most challenging part to building Ramble so far has been attempting to accommodate for all of the use cases. We’re hearing feedback on a daily basis on how our users wish to use Ramble. These are cases that we never even imagined when designing the app. It’s equally exciting and a challenge attempting to pivot and accommodate as much as we can while still staying true to the core of what makes Ramble, Ramble. |
What’s next for your project? | We’re hoping to grow our users to the point where we can raise money and build out the list of features suggested by those already on Ramble. |
