Laika studios is an award-winning feature film studio best known, for their stop motion animation films including Coraline, Kubo and the Two Strings and Missing Link.

MPF won the highly competitive tender to become LAIKA Studio's full-service digital partner, delivering strategy, content, innovation assets, web design and build.

The site is hallmarked by strong imagery reflecting the beauty and intricacy of the studio's films, delivering a visual feast for the user at every turn. While continuing to support the website, the teams continue to work with LAIKA on their social media strategy which includes a handcrafted Coraline chatbot, AR filters and film announcements

OBJECTIVE

A solution basedon creating a 'one stop' destination for everything LAIKA.

Working closely with the Laika team, MPF created a bespoke design to highlight the unique characters that populate the Laika world. Profiling both the final product - the films, as well as the elaborate creative process behind them.The site offers a shop, links to social media and job openings. To support the site, MPF crafted a story based, character lead Coraline chatbot where users spoke at length to learn hidden secrets about both the film and the studio.

The studio is best known for its stop motion feature films Coraline, Kubo and the Two Strings and Missing Link.
