A unique way to detect and manage the onset of stress - privately and effectively.

Using heart rate detection to identify a possible stress event, accompanied by a set of proven tools to reduce anxiety.
Our dashboard helps individuals understand more about their environment, stressors, causal events and other physiological factors.

OBJECTIVE

A validated, a personal tool to assist individuals & organisations to detect and manage stress, identifying causes and building resilience.

Via a smartwatch, MPF captured a baseline heart pattern (rate and rhythm) for each user. We then created and refined an algorithm to track variations from this norm, ignoring external factors (eg stairs or exercise). We checked our assumption with the user, refining our data theory. Where a stress event was confirmed, we provided a simple structured breathing routine aimed at reducing anxiety.The solution also offered extended intervention tools via their mobile device, including a link to a support buddy. At an organisational level, we tracked work pressures, stress and anxiety across a team in an anonymous, manner - delivering individual solutions for each employee, but retaining their privacy through reporting at a group level.

The initial pilot study validated the accuracy of the algorithm in detecting valid stress events and proved both the effectiveness of the interventions offered and the benefit to business through better team support.
